God Reveals the Messiah<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Passage:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Matthew 1:18\u201325; Luke 1:26\u201338<\/span><\/p>\n

Principle:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Jesus is Savior and Lord and deserves all our worship.<\/span><\/p>\n

Praise:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>\u201cJoy to the World\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Prompt:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Why was Joseph\u2019s family history important?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • What did the angel tell Mary about the baby that she would have?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • What is important about the names Immanuel, Savior, and Son of the Most High?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Practice:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • By trusting that God always keeps His promises.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • By telling others about the Savior this Christmas.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • By obeying Jesus Christ as Lord and God.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
