We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jesus Feeds the Multitude<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage:\u00a0 <\/strong>Matthew 14:13\u201321<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle:\u00a0 <\/strong>The feeding of the multitude demonstrated Jesus\u2019 deity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise:\u00a0 <\/strong>\u201cAll Hail the Power of Jesus\u2019 Name\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt:\u00a0 <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why did Jesus ask the disciples to give the people food?<\/li>\n<li>What does Jesus\u2019 miracle reveal about His person and authority?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice:\u00a0 <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By believing in Jesus Christ as God.<\/li>\n<li>By having compassion on those who need Jesus as Savior and Lord.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week:\u00a0 <\/strong>As a family, read selected portions of Matthew 14:13\u201321.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week:\u00a0 <\/strong>Matthew 14:22\u201334<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse:\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>And my God will supply all your needs<\/strong> according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. \u00a0<strong>Philippians 4:19*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>* Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, July 3.
