We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Jesus Teaches the Parable of the Sower<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Passage: <\/strong>Matthew 13:1\u201323<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: <\/strong>People respond differently to the sowing of God\u2019s Word.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cLord, I Lift Your Name on High\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt: <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What are the different soils, and what does each represent?<\/li>\n<li>What does it mean to have ears but not be able to hear?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice: <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By praising God for eyes to see and ears to hear His Word.<\/li>\n<li>By examining his response to God\u2019s Word.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week: <\/strong>As a family, read selected portions of Matthew 13:1\u201323.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week: <\/strong>Matthew 14:13\u201321<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse: <\/strong><strong>\u2026prove yourselves doers of the word<\/strong>, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. <strong>James 1:22<\/strong><strong>*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>* Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, June 26.
