We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Jesus Rebukes the Pharisees<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Passage: <\/strong>Matthew 12:22\u201337<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: <\/strong>The Holy Spirit reveals Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cPraise the Name of Jesus\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt: <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What does it mean to blaspheme the Holy Spirit?<\/li>\n<li>What does the illustration of the tree and its fruit reveal about the heart of man?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice: <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By examining his heart.<\/li>\n<li>By responding to the Holy Spirit\u2019s revelation about Jesus Christ.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week: <\/strong>As a family, read selected portions of Matthew 12:22\u201337.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week: <\/strong>Matthew 13:1\u201323<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse: <\/strong><strong>\u201c&#8230;the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart.\u201d Matthew 12:34b*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>* Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, June 19.
