We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Jesus Is Worshiped<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Passage: <\/strong>Matthew 2<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: <\/strong>Believers worship Jesus as King.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cO Worship the King\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt: <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How did the wise men worship Jesus?<\/li>\n<li>What were the various responses to Jesus\u2019 birth?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice: <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By submitting to Jesus as Lord and King.<\/li>\n<li>By praising God for His faithfulness in fulfilling prophecy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week: <\/strong>As a family, read selected portions of Matthew 2.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week: <\/strong>Matthew 3:1\u201312<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse:<\/strong><strong> \u201cYou shall worship the Lord your God and serve him only.\u201d Luke 4:8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, April 10.
