We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>God Uses Esther to Protect the Jews<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Passage: <\/strong>Esther<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: <\/strong>Believers trust in God\u2019s plan, power, and protection.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cAwesome God\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt: <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How did Esther become Ahasuerus\u2019s queen?<\/li>\n<li>What events led to God\u2019s protection of the Jews?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice: <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By praising God, who controls every event.<\/li>\n<li>By being courageous in doing the right thing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week: <\/strong>As a family, read selected portions of the book of Esther.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week: <\/strong>Nehemiah 1:1\u20134:23; 6:15\u201316<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse:<\/strong> \u201cHis dominion is an everlasting dominion, and <strong>His kingdom endures from generation to generation.\u201d Daniel 4:34<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, February 14.
