We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>God Moves the Jews to Restore Worship<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Passage: <\/strong>Ezra 1\u20136<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: <\/strong>Believers respond to the blessing of worship by submitting their heart to God.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cI Stand in Awe\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt: <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How did God fulfill Jeremiah\u2019s prophesy?<\/li>\n<li>How did the Israelites worship God?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice: <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By repenting from false worship and following Christ.<\/li>\n<li>By worshiping God with a rejoicing heart.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week: <\/strong>As a family, read selected portions of Ezra 1\u20136.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week: <\/strong>Ezra 7\u201310<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse:<\/strong><strong> He has put a new song in my mouth\u2014Praise to our God<\/strong>; Many will see it and fear, And trust in the LORD. <strong>Psalm 40:3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, January 31.
