We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>God Judges Belshazzar for His Pride<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Passage: <\/strong>Daniel 5<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: <\/strong>Believers respond to God\u2019s warning before they are judged<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cTrust in the Lord with All Your Heart\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt: <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why did Belshazzar use the vessels from the Lord\u2019s temple?<\/li>\n<li>What happened to the wall, and what did the writing mean?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice: <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By repenting when others are punished.<\/li>\n<li>By telling others about God\u2019s judgment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week: <\/strong>As a family, read selected portions of Daniel 5.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week: <\/strong>Daniel 6<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse:<\/strong> When pride comes, then comes dishonor, but <strong>with the humble is wisdom.
