We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>God Punishes Judah<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Passage: <\/strong>2 Kings 21\u201325<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: <\/strong>God hates and punishes all sin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cBlessed Be the Name of the Lord\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt: <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why did God punish Judah?<\/li>\n<li>What did God promise would happen after Israel repented?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice: <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By hating sin as God does.<\/li>\n<li>By repenting from sin and asking God for forgiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week: <\/strong>As a family, read selected portions of 2 Kings 21\u201325.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week:<\/strong> Jonah 1-4<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse: Come, let us return to the Lord.
