We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>God Is Glorified by Protecting Judah<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Passage: <\/strong>2 Kings 18\u201319<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: <\/strong>God always will glorify His name.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cBlessed Be the Name of the Lord\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt: <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What happened to the northern kingdom of Israel and why?<\/li>\n<li>How did God answer Hezekiah\u2019s prayer?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice: <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By trusting God to do whatever will glorify His name.<\/li>\n<li>By repenting of not glorifying God in actions and words.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week: <\/strong>As a family, read selected portions of 2 Kings 18\u201319.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week: <\/strong>2 Kings 21\u201325<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse:<\/strong><strong> If anyone suffers as a Christian, <\/strong>he is not to be ashamed,<strong> but is to glorify God <\/strong>in this name. <strong>1 Peter 4:16<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday,\u00a0November 1.
