We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Israel Rejects God\u2019s Prophet and Priest<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Passage: <\/b>Numbers 16<\/p>\n<p><b>Principle: <\/b>We should obey and respect the leadership that God has established.<\/p>\n<p><b>Praise: <\/b>\u201cHumble Thyself in the Sight of the Lord\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>Prompt: <\/b>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What were the names of the men who did not trust God\u2019s choice of leadership in Moses?<\/li>\n<li>How did God punish Korah, Dathan, and Abiram?<\/li>\n<li>Why did the people complain?<\/li>\n<li>Who interceded for the sins of the people?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\nPractice: <\/b>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By valuing the leadership God has put in his life.<\/li>\n<li>By not blaming leaders in difficult times.<\/li>\n<li>By learning from the Lord\u2019s discipline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\nThis Week: <\/b>As a family, read Numbers 16.<\/p>\n<p><b>Next Week: <\/b>Numbers 21<\/p>\n<p><b>Memory Verses:<\/b> \u201c\u2026<b>all authority comes from God<\/b>, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.
