We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><b>God Requires Holy Living<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Passage: <\/b>Leviticus 19<\/p>\n<p><b>Principle: <\/b>God is holy and wants believers to live holy lives.<\/p>\n<p><b>Praise: <\/b>\u201cO-B-E-D-I-E-N-C-E\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>Prompt: <\/b>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why did God command the Israelites to live holy lives?<\/li>\n<li>What does it mean to be holy?<\/li>\n<li>How can one live a holy life?<\/li>\n<li>Are Christians commanded to live holy lives?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\nPractice: <\/b>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By obeying his father and mother.<\/li>\n<li>By being kind to others.<\/li>\n<li>By obeying and respecting older people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\nThis Week: <\/b>As a family, read Leviticus 19.<\/p>\n<p><b>Next Week: <\/b>Numbers 11-12<\/p>\n<p><b>Memory Verses:<\/b> \u201c\u2026<b>let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace<\/b>, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.\u201d <b>Hebrews 4:16*<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>* Preschool verse in bold print<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, February 15.
