We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><b>God Establishes the Priesthood<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Passage: <\/b>Leviticus 9:22\u201310:7<\/p>\n<p><b>Principle: <\/b>Man needs a mediator to come before God.<\/p>\n<p><b>Praise: <\/b>\u201cLord, I Lift Your Name on High\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>Prompt: <\/b>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why did God create the role of a priest?<\/li>\n<li>Did the priests have to obey God\u2019s laws?<\/li>\n<li>What happened to the two priests who disobeyed God\u2019s commands?<\/li>\n<li>Who is the sinless priest?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\nPractice: <\/b>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By trusting only Jesus to bring him to God.<\/li>\n<li>By confessing his sins to God and asking Jesus to help him.<\/li>\n<li>By worshiping God with the right attitudes and actions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\nThis Week: <\/b>As a family, read Leviticus 9:22\u201310:7.<\/p>\n<p><b>Next Week: <\/b>Leviticus 11\u201316<\/p>\n<p><b>Memory Verses:<\/b> \u201cTherefore, since <b>we have a great high priest<\/b> who has passed through the heavens, <b>Jesus the Son of God<\/b>, let us hold fast our confession.\u201d <b>Hebrews 4:14*<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>* Preschool verse in bold print<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, February 1.
