We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><b>God Ordains the Sacrificial System<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Passage: <\/b>Leviticus 1\u20137<\/p>\n<p><b>Principle: <\/b>God\u2019s holiness requires a sacrifice for sin.<\/p>\n<p><b>Praise: <\/b>\u201cTrust and Obey\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>Prompt: <\/b>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What types of offerings did the Israelites give to God?<\/li>\n<li>Why did the Israelites offer sacrifices?<\/li>\n<li>How was the worshiper forgiven?<\/li>\n<li>Who is the perfect sacrifice?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\nPractice: <\/b>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By trusting Jesus to take his punishment.<\/li>\n<li>By living a holy life by obeying parents and leaders.<\/li>\n<li>By praising God by giving Him the best effort and attitude.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\nThis Week: <\/b>As a family, read Leviticus 1\u20137.<\/p>\n<p><b>Next Week: <\/b>Leviticus 9:22\u201310:7<\/p>\n<p><b>Memory Verses:<\/b> \u201c\u2026without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.\u201d Hebrews 9:22b<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, January 25.
