We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><b>The King Is Adored<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Passage: <\/b>Matthew 2:1\u201312<\/p>\n<p><b>Principle: <\/b>The wise men are an example of how to adore the King of kings.<\/p>\n<p><b>Praise: <\/b>\u201cJoy to the World\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>Prompt: <\/b>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Who were the magi, and why did they come to see Jesus?<\/li>\n<li>Why was it important that Jesus was born in Bethlehem?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\nPractice: <\/b>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By thanking God that His Son came to earth in such a humble way to save undeserving sinners.<\/li>\n<li>By worshiping Christ with \u201cexceeding joy,\u201d as the magi did.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\nThis Week: <\/b>As a family, read Matthew 2:1\u201312.<\/p>\n<p><b>Next Week: <\/b>Matthew 2:13\u201323<\/p>\n<p><b>Memory Verses:<\/b> \u201cYou shall worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.\u201d Luke 4:8<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, December 14.
