Passage:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Genesis 21:1\u201314<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Principle:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>God always keeps His promises.<\/span><\/p>\n

Praise:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>\u201cPraise Him, Praise Him\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Prompt:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Who was the special baby promised to Abraham?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Why was Isaac\u2019s birth a miracle?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • How did Ishmael treat Isaac?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Where were Ishmael and Hagar sent?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • In what ways can you trust God?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Practice:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/span><\/p>\n

    • By trusting God to keep His promises.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • By patiently waiting for God to fulfill His promises.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • By keeping the promises he has made.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
