We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday&#8217;s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000\">God Judges Sodom and Gomorrah<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Passage:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Genesis 18:16\u201319:29<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Principle:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">God hates and judges sin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Praise:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u201cTrust and Obey\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Prompt:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Ask your child these questions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Why was God going to punish the people of Sodom and Gomorrah?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Why did Abraham ask God to save the good people in Sodom?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Who warned Lot to leave the city?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">How did God punish Sodom and Gomorrah?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Whom did God save from judgment?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Practice:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By obeying God\u2019s Word and listening to His warnings.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By turning from sin.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">This Week:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">As a family, read Genesis 18:16\u201319:29.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Next Week:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Genesis 21:1\u201314<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Key Verse: <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Genesis 18:20-21<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u201cAnd the Lord said, \u2018Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children&#8217;s Sunday School classes on Sunday, October 23.
