We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday&#8217;s lesson with your family.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>God Makes a Promise to Abram<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Passage:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Genesis 11:27\u201312:9<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Principle:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>God keeps His promises.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Praise:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>\u201cTrust and Obey\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Prompt:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">What did Abram worship before God called him?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Did Abram follow the Lord?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">What did God promise Abram?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">What blessing did God promise Abram?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Practice:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By turning from sin.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By turning from pride.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By being humble and obeying the Lord.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>This Week:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>As a family, read Genesis 11:27\u201312:9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Next Week:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Genesis 16:1\u20136; 17:15\u201321; 18:1\u201315<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Key Verse:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Genesis 12:1-3<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u201cNow the Lord had said to Abram..
