{"id":1,"date":"2011-08-16T22:17:21","date_gmt":"2011-08-16T22:17:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faithkids.faithlafayette.org\/?p=1"},"modified":"2011-12-12T09:36:04","modified_gmt":"2011-12-12T14:36:04","slug":"welcome","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.faithlafayette.org\/faithkids\/welcome\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome to the Faith Kids Blog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re creating this blog as a connection place for kids, parents, and teachers to interact on topics facing families and those who work with them.\u00a0 Our hope is that this site will serve as a venue where you&#8217;ll be able to find ideas, answers, and discipleship tools that will help you to grow personally, as a family, and as a servant of Christ.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Who are we writing for?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>This blog is being created with three audiences in mind:\u00a0 kids, parents, and children\u2019s ministries servants.\u00a0 As our content grows, you\u2019ll find posts that cater to each of these groups.\u00a0 Kids may find ideas, encouragements, and resources that help them grow in their relationships with God.\u00a0 Parents may find tips and\u00a0sugestions to aid them as they seek to raise kids who love and live for the\u00a0Lord.\u00a0 Children&#8217;s ministries servants will find tools\u00a0designed to assist them in effectively discipling\u00a0the kids in their classrooms.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Can\u00a0we talk?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>We don&#8217;t want this to be a one-way conversation.\u00a0 We&#8217;re inviting you to share\u00a0your comments, ideas, and questions. \u00a0If you\u2019ve come across an exciting resource, let us know about it.\u00a0 If you\u2019ve discovered a great technique for talking to kids about a tough subject, please share it.\u00a0 If you\u2019re wrestling with questions with which you could use some help, let us know.\u00a0 Maybe we can help.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Can you send it to me?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>People watch a lot of web sites for news and updates, so we\u2019ve made it easy for you to add us to the mix.
