The following lesson was taught in our children’s Sunday School classes on Sunday, July 14. We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday’s lesson with your family.
Read: Acts 9:1-31
Ask your child:
- What happened to Saul on the road to Damascus? Saul was blinded by a light from heaven. Jesus spoke to him, and Saul placed his faith in Christ.
- How did Saul demonstrate his faith in Jesus? Saul proclaimed Christ and urged other to follow Him.
Emphasize this principle: God can transform anyone’s life. Therefore, we should repent and seek to be used by Him.
Practice:
- Ask the Lord to use you in His service.
- Proclaim Jesus to others regardless of the cost.
Praise: “Trust and Obey”
Prepare for next week: Acts 10:1-11:18
Memorize for June 30-July 14: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105
