In this session, Chris Moles teaches that violence begins in the heart of the abusive partner. Abusive partners need a redeemed view of power, position, and leadership.
Nowadays, domestic abuse is a frequent issue in the counseling room. Mistreatment, exploitation, violence, and threatening are often found in at all levels of communities. Sadly, most of the victims are women.
These patterns, motivated by selfishness, are intended to exercise or maintain control over one’s partner. This does not bring glory to God. The results are catastrophic for the family, and the whole society.
Therefore, the gospel is the only real hope. Abusive partners need a redeemed view of power, position, and leadership.
This topic will be deeply covered on our next Biblical Counseling Training Conference 2019.
