Intro<\/h2>\n

In our Adult Bible Fellowships<\/a>\u00a0we\u00a0are starting a new bible study over the Gospel of Mark.\u00a0Adult Bible Fellowships(ABFs) are a great time to connect and enjoy fellowship around prayer, the study of God\u2019s word and serving together. If you have never come to an ABF, I would encourage you to check one out this Sunday (1\/8\/17). If you are a part of an ABF, I encourage you to come ready to grow in your love for God and your love for others this year as a Faithful part of your ABF.<\/p>\n

So in preparation for ABF on Sunday please read the passages listed below and think about the following discussion questions.<\/p>\n

Mark 1:1-13<\/a>,\u00a0Isaiah 40:3,\u00a0Malachi 3:1<\/p>\n

  1. How\u00a0does\u00a0knowing who a book of the bible was written to help you understand God’s word better?<\/li>\n
  2. How do the passages above help you think about Who Jesus is?<\/li>\n
  3. Consider the bigger question of what Jesus expects from those who follow Him….(this will be answered later in Mark, but it is good to think about early in our study).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
