In our Adult Bible Fellowships<\/a>\u00a0this past week we learned that It\u2019s possible to hurt others even though we intended to help them.<\/p>\n

  1. Poverty is not merely about resources, but it is primarily about relationships<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Providing help starts with understanding the difference between relief, rehabilitation and development<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      1. Seek to work with<\/u> a person to get to a better place, as opposed to doing things to<\/u> or for<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        For Reflection:\u00a0Are there times when I tend to meet a material need as a way to avoid a real relational encounter or journey?<\/strong><\/p>\n

        1. When the Samaritan saw the man and understood that he was beaten and half dead, what are some excuses he could have told himself to rationalize not getting involved?<\/li>\n
        2. In what ways can we engage<\/u> those in need around us?\u00a0 What could it practically look like? Consider this Video<\/a>.<\/li>\n
        3. How many provisions from God did the Samaritan share with the beaten man?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
