We are to bring our hurt to him and direct our minds to His character and His ultimate salvation.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>The Lord uses those who are empty \u2013 those who recognize their need<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Prayer is a pillar of a God-centered life <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Praise is the Proper Response to God\u2019s grace<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Sunday<\/h2>\n<p><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1+Sam+2%3A12+-3%3A21&amp;version=NASB\">1 Sam 2:12 \u2013 3:1-21 \u2013 <strong><u>Eli\u2019s Sons and the Call of Samuel<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In preparation for our lesson on Sunday please read the section listed above and think about the following discussion questions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>How do you see God&#8217;s grace and God&#8217;s judgment emphasized?<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>How is judging the leaders of Israel in a public way an act of grace for the people?<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>What do you learn about God\u2019s grace as you think about the contrast of Samuel and Eli\u2019s sons?<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>What do you learn about God\u2019s word and loving people?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pray that\u00a0we would have eyes to see God&#8217;s grace as we see His righteousness.
