Getting ready for the fall involves more than new clothes and school supplies. \u00a0Your kids need help getting spiritually prepared as well.<\/p>\n

Kids Need to Be in Church<\/h2>\n

Let’s be up front about this:\u00a0 we want your kids involved in our Children’s Ministries.\u00a0 What’s more is that your kids need<\/em> to be involved in our Children’s Ministries.\u00a0 <\/strong>Just like you, your kids need to be consistently challenged with the truths of Scripture.\u00a0 They need to hear about God\u2019s love and expectations for their lives.\u00a0 <\/strong>They need regular encouragement to establish and develop their walk with Christ.\u00a0 That\u2019s so important.<\/p>\n

Kids Need to Reach Out<\/h2>\n

God wants to use your kids to reach other kids who also need Jesus.\u00a0\u00a0It doesn\u2019t matter if your kids are 2 or 12, they need to understand the importance of connecting others to Christ.\u00a0 This is a great time of year to help your kids personally invite neighbors or classmates to visit church with them.\u00a0 Your kids need that encouragement.<\/p>\n

Kids Need to Be Friendly<\/h2>\n

This may sound a bit radical, but your kids need to understand that church is not just a place where they come to receive ministry.\u00a0 They need to view themselves as part of the ministry team.\u00a0 When your kids arrive for church, are they concerned about playing with their favorite classroom toys or sitting next to kids they already know, or are they looking to befriend someone new?<\/p>\n

Being in a new church is often daunting for visiting children.\u00a0 A simple show of kindness by your child might make the difference between a family that visits once and a family that becomes a vital part of our church.<\/strong>\u00a0 Help your kids develop that kind of mindset.<\/p>\n

Get Ready Now<\/h2>\n

Our fall ministries kick-off on Sunday, August 21.\u00a0 Wednesday Night Kids of Faith<\/a> and Faith Community Institute<\/a> launch on Wednesday, August 24.\u00a0 Will your family be ready?\u00a0 Start talking with your kids about the attitudes and actions that ought to characterize your lives as you head into this season.<\/p>\n
