\"New-Worship-Service---Planning-for-Growth\"<\/p>\n

Aren\u2019t you so thankful that God continues to touch our generation and open spiritually blind eyes and deaf ears?\u00a0\u00a0 God\u2019s ongoing work of redemption in our community impacts us with more individuals attending our worship services on Sunday mornings.\u00a0 If you haven\u2019t noticed, it gets a little tight around FBC in our 9:30 and 11:00 worship services and the foyer.<\/p>\n

The Plan for Expansion<\/h2>\n

We want to have ample space for any who desire to hear God’s Word.\u00a0\u00a0 As a leadership team we believe it is time for us to launch a brand new fourth worship service in the fall.<\/p>\n

We are creating a new <\/strong>worship service and Adult Bible Fellowship structure<\/strong> that will neatly fit over in the Faith Community Center at times offset from our current schedule on Sunday mornings.\u00a0\u00a0 The new service will start at 10:15 am in the Multi-purpose room of FCC.\u00a0 Here is how it will work: when Pastor Viars starts preaching in our 9:30 am service, the worship team will simply head over to the Community Center and lead our new service in worship at 10:15 am.\u00a0\u00a0 When the worship team is done at the community center, Pastor Viars steps in to preach there, while the worship team heads over to the auditorium to lead our 11:00 am service.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 After Pastor Viars is done preaching over at the community center, he heads back to the auditorium for his final sermon.<\/p>\n

A good metaphor for what we are doing is “planting a church” over at Faith Community Center on Sunday morning. \u00a0Our leadership team has also approved resources to make the Multi Purpose Room at the Community Center a fitting worship space.\u00a0 And, this is much better stewardship of resources than spending 9 million dollars on a new auditorium.<\/p>\n

We are planning to populate that “church plant” with those individuals who do not have any child care needs.\u00a0 That is to prevent our current children’s ministries from being interrupted by children being dropped off or picked up at odd times.<\/p>\n

How You Can Help<\/h2>\n
