We have been discussing different prayers from the book of Psalms.\u00a0 Part of the assignment was for each small group to write their own Psalm of Praise to God.\u00a0 It was encouraging to see the teens take part in this act of worship to God.\u00a0 I would like to share these Psalms with you over this week in a 5 day series.<\/p>\n
Jono Thomas \/ Logan Heusinger\u2019s Small Group<\/strong><\/p>\n Oh God, Our God,<\/p>\n You have created the stars<\/p>\n And you call them by name.<\/p>\n You work all things for good.<\/p>\n Your holiness lights angels on fire and caused Moses\u2019 face to glow.<\/p>\n You are awesome and above all.<\/p>\n You possess incomprehensible power.<\/p>\n Your name causes healing, drives out demons, and throws men off their feet.<\/p>\n You are the only sacrifice that meets Your requirements.<\/p>\n \n Who am I to say otherwise.<\/p>\n We constantly rebel and try to be God.<\/p>\n We attribute your goodness as our doing.<\/p>\n We worry as if your promises aren\u2019t enough.<\/p>\n We fall into sin and keep returning.<\/p>\n \n But in spite of these things,<\/p>\n You fulfill your promises and continue to bless us.<\/p>\n We do not deserve you.<\/p>\n Oh God, Our God.<\/p>\n \n Mrs. Merkel\u2019s Small Group<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n God, You are Faithful.<\/p>\n You are with me when I am near and far from you.<\/p>\n You will never leave me alone, even when I mess up time and time again.<\/p>\n I will praise you for Your presence.<\/p>\n I am drawn close to you.<\/p>\n God, You are faithful to me always.<\/p>\n \n
