Do we have nothing to look forward to after this life?<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>l <strong>If the Grave Wins&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I Corinthians 15:12-19<\/strong><\/p>\n[Small groups] List the consequences of no resurrection:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Christ has not been raised (v13, 16)<\/li>\n<li>Our proclamation has no foundation (v14)<\/li>\n<li>Your faith has no foundation (v14)<\/li>\n<li>We are false witnesses (v15)<\/li>\n<li>Your faith is worthless (v17)<\/li>\n<li>You are still in your sins (the curse of Adam) (v17)<\/li>\n<li>The dead have perished forever (v18)<\/li>\n<li>Christians should be pitied more than anyone (v19)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>l <strong>If Jesus Wins&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I Corinthians 15:20-28<\/strong><\/p>\n[Small groups] List the consequences of a real resurrection:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The grave of Adam is defeated (sin is defeated) (v21-22)<\/li>\n<li>Christ is the first fruits of the resurrection (v20, 23)<\/li>\n<li>Those belonging to Christ will be raised as well (v23)<\/li>\n<li>The end will come (v24)<\/li>\n<li>Christ will become king of all (v24-25)<\/li>\n<li>Death will be defeated (v26)<\/li>\n<li>Everything is subject to God (v27-28)<\/li>\n<li>God will be all in all (v28)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>l <strong>Application&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I Corinthians 15:30-34<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In what ways might a Christian live and be pitied by the world around him?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be baptized<\/li>\n<li>Be in danger (take risks)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Persecution, ridicule, being uncool, suffering<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dying daily<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Denying the desires of the flesh<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I Corinthians 15:12-34 Intro: \u201cLet us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.\u201d v32 Is this it?
