“I’m bored.”\u00a0\u00a0 “My life is lame.” \u00a0 “I have nothing to do.”\u00a0 These are common quotes from teens after the first week of school being out,\u00a0 sometimes after\u00a0the first day.<\/p>\n

Well,\u00a0“DO SOMETHING”!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Do something for someone – your parents, your neighbor, your friends.\u00a0 Do a work project together.\u00a0 Get with a friend and help an elderly person clean his\/her house or garagae.\u00a0 Trim someone’s bushes (always get permission and know what you are doing).\u00a0 Help landscape someone’s yard.\u00a0 Clean your local park. Make cookies and take them to a nursing home.<\/p>\n

Be creative.\u00a0 You don’t have to spend a bunch of money.\u00a0 But what you will find, if you do something to help someone else you – will enjoy the summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Philippians 2:3-4 encourages us to think of others and put them first.\u00a0 Gaurantee – you put others first and genuinely serve them you will have a great summer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
