Part 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What do you want your teen to look like&#8211;to &#8220;be&#8221;, when he or she graduates from high school?\u00a0 And what are you doing now to help your teen become what you want him or her to be?<\/p>\n<p>Key characteristic 2 is &#8220;Pursuit of Holiness&#8221;.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t think any of us want our teen to pursue negative things like drugs, alcohol, gangs, hate, violence, arrogance, immorality.<!--more--> However, I think many believe they have succeeded in parenting if their teen has not pursued these things, but has pursued &#8220;good&#8221; things, like success, fame, money, showing kindness, making sound ethical decisions, family, and so on.\u00a0\u00a0Is there more?\u00a0 And how do you know when some or any of the &#8220;good things&#8221; really are not good?\u00a0 What should we train our teens to pursue? \u00a0I would suggest &#8220;holiness&#8221;.\u00a0\u00a0This video will help.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ODlzofxFCdI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What do you want your teen to be when he or she graduates from high school?
