Family Fun at Race for Hope

You’ve heard us talk and blog a lot about the Race for Hope lately, but there may be some facts you are not yet aware of. We are planning some fun times for this event, and we hope that you will join us and share in this great community time.

Did you know that the Race for Hope offers three different events? There is an option of joining in our 5k walk, 5k timed run, or 10k certified timed run. This allows people from all different stages of life to join in this event to help support the ministry. You can register for any of these three events here.

Further, perhaps you have been praying for our event but feel you cannot participate because you do not live locally. We want you to take part in the Race for Hope as well! Just sign up as a walker, and you’ll be able you either join an existing team or start your own! We have even heard of people from other states or other countries sign up for a team for the Race for Hope which others can join where they live. These teams often run their own race together in their local area as a way to support Vision of Hope both financially and by telling others about the ministry.

Lastly, we will have other fun events planned for Race day, including live music and Kona Ice! So, we hope you will join us for the fun family time that is sure to happen on June 10th at our Race for Hope.

Bethany Dunn
Bethany heard about Vision of Hope while attending Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida. When she began praying about what God wanted her to do after graduating, He kept bringing Vision of Hope to her mind. Knowing that there was an internship available, Bethany applied, was accepted, and began her internship with VOH in July, 2012. Since then she has been amazed at the opportunities God has given her to learn more about His Word and how it applies to everyday life. Bethany now serves on staff at Vision of Hope.
