What We Do: Girl’s Night Activities!

Many of you are quite familiar with our program and the activities we do here, but you may not be aware of the day-to-day opportunities we have. Today, we would like to talk about some of the things our residents are able to be involved in while they are in our program.

One of the most looked-forward-to days of the week here is Friday. Why? Because Friday night is Girl’s Night Activity (GNA)! GNAs are a time when we either plan something fun to do on campus or go off campus for a night out! Many of our church members host GNAs and plan ways to bless us with a fun evening. We also take the ladies out to Purdue games, bowling, picnic at the park, go sledding in the winter time, and lots of other fun activities. These more relaxed evenings are great opportunities for our ladies to interact with staff, interns, and fellow residents, and to simply enjoy some fun time away from the VOH home.

We are thankful for the opportunities God gives us to just have fun and enjoy His creation. Stay tuned to learn more about what our residents and interns are involved in here at VOH.

Bethany Dunn
Bethany heard about Vision of Hope while attending Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida. When she began praying about what God wanted her to do after graduating, He kept bringing Vision of Hope to her mind. Knowing that there was an internship available, Bethany applied, was accepted, and began her internship with VOH in July, 2012. Since then she has been amazed at the opportunities God has given her to learn more about His Word and how it applies to everyday life. Bethany now serves on staff at Vision of Hope.
