Did you know that Vision of Hope is currently operating a ministry within a ministry?
What does that even mean?, you ask.
COUPONING, that’s what! Heather Starkweather, the Vision of Hope Social Worker/Counselor has spearheaded a coupon ministry that is saving us literally hundreds of dollars on groceries and household items each month!
We have numerous volunteers that come to VOH each week to fill a different role within the mysteriously well-kept-secret world of “the Couponer”. Some are given to searching and scouring that weeks advertisements for coupons, as others are clipping, cutting, and sorting, while others are designated shoppers to go and claim the most current steal-of-a-deal.
One thing is for sure: Couponing is a science; and there are some really great Couponers who have been using our abundance of coupons to donate huge amounts of food and other items to VOH! $456.31 worth of products have been donated, $112.64 in the month of November already!!
If you you know the ropes of couponing or know someone who does, PLEASE send them our way! As a thank you for those who donate their time and efforts, we gladly share our coupons, so you can get lots of savings on things you need, too!
