Satan Tempts Jesus
Passage: Matthew 4:1–11
Principle: Only Jesus is righteous and can take away the punishment for men’s sin.
Praise: “Holy, Holy, Holy”
Prompt: Ask your child these questions:
- In what ways did Satan tempt Jesus?
- With what words and actions did Jesus respond to Satan’s temptation?
Practice: Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:
- By resisting temptation by knowing the truth of God’s Word.
- By trusting God’s Word when he is tempted to sin.
