Faith Bible Seminary Recruiting Now for 2016

Over ten years ago, Faith church had the vision of formalizing our training of men apt to teach, who could teach others. Through prayerful planning and dependence upon the Lord, Faith Church created a new seminary paradigm that brought pastoral training back to the local church. This local-church model provided both a rigorous academic component as well as a practical ministry component. Additionally, students would graduate debt-free.

That formalized training is called Faith Bible Seminary.

Pastor Doug Helmer of Harvest Indy West recently spoke about FBS’ unique model in December of 2014. His words capture the heart of what FBS is striving to do. His six minute testimony is followed by two of his staff members currently attending FBS—Nathan Schmidt and Cody Podor.

Also, as of February 16, 2015, FBS achieved a major milestone by receiving accreditation candidate status from the Association of Biblical Higher Education.

Currently, Faith Bible Seminary has twenty-six men training for pastoral ministry. These men have completed half of their program and in June of 2016 they will graduate and move on to make disciples around the world. With this cohort’s graduation next June, FBS will have sent out over 50 men into the harvest for souls.

Being halfway through with the current cohort means that FBS is now recruiting for our next cohort that will matriculate in August of 2016. If you know of interested candidates, or are interested yourself, please contact Pastor Aucoin at baucoin@faithlafayette.org.

Thank you for your support and prayer for Faith Bible Seminary.
