What is the Gospel?

Here is a simple acrostic that helps people to know, understand, and present the gospel.  This acrostic was presented at the Dare 2 Share Conference by Greg Leir and his team as the story of the Bible.  Every story has certain elements.  This acrostic tells the true story of the gospel:

G od Created us to be with Him (Exposition) – Genesis 1-2.

O ur sins separate us from God (Exposition) – Romans 3:23.

S ins cannot be removed by good deeds (Rising Action) – Ephesians 2:8-9.

P aying the price for sin Jesus died and rose again (Climax) – 1 Corinthians 15; 1 Peter 3:18.

E everone who trusts in Him (Jesus) alone has eternal life (Falling Action) – Acts 4:12; Acts 16:31.

L ife with Jesus starts now and lasts forever  (Resolution) – John 3:16-17; John 10:10.

The beauty is when this story collides with the story of your life…your life changes!  Now is a great time for you to receive the GOSPEL message if you haven’t already.  If you have, hopefully this acrostic will help you more boldly and clearly present the good news to others.
